A lovely purple centred sweet potato with purple skin, creating a fantastic visual appeal.
This vegetable enjoys a full sun position in fertile, well draining soil.
Vitamin A and beta-carotene are more concentrated in Purple Kumara than in any other root vegetable. They exhibit some of the most powerful antioxidant effects known to science.
Not as sweet as other varieties, they’re ideal roasted.
You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months. Alternatively, you can use it as a decorative pot plant as the coir pot will last between 12-18 months (then you can plant it in the ground).
