Description
Acacia cyclops. 3.7L coir pot.
This wattle prefers a full sun position in well draining sandy or loamy soil. It can tolerate drought and salty soils.
During the warmer months, yellow flowers will appear, attracting bees and insects.
In late spring through summer, long twisted seed pods will reveal red-ringed seeds that can be eaten. The nutty flavour of the wattle seed can be used as a coffee substitute.
The plant should grow to around 3m high by 3m wide.
