You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Native to the Mediterranean, this hardy plant grows about 1.3m high by 1m wide.
It enjoys a full sun position and can handle various soil types with good drainage.
The flowers are a lovely blue and the bees just adore them.
Rosemary has a long history of medicinal use and it is believed to improve memory.
