You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Perovskia atriplicifolia. 1.1L coir pot.

Native to Central Asia, this hardy upright perennial offers aromatic foliage and beautiful light purple flowers in summer and autumn.

The plant has traditionally been used by numerous cultures for its medicinal properties, and as a flavouring agent.

Russian Sage has anti-inflammatory properties, and is believed to assist with digestion and respiratory health.

Makes a calming tea.

Edible flowers.

The leaves are believed to deter aphids and whitefly.

The plant prefers a full sun position in free draining soil.

It should grow around 1.1m high by 80cm wide.
