Description

Prunus spinosa. 3.7L coir pot.

Native to the Caucasus region, this long-lived, deciduous plant offers small, astringent blue berries, which are used to flavour gin and other white spirits.

Popular as a thorny hedgerow across the United Kingdom, the plant’s dense structure provides a great habitat for wildlife.

The plant enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil, and should grow around 4m high by 4m wide. Prefers cooler areas.
