You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Diploglottis campbellii. 3.7L coir pot.

This tree produces creamy brown flowers followed by capsules, which split open when ripe to reveal the red fruit.

The fruit has a tart, tangy flavour.

The tree enjoys a full sun to part shade position and should grow around 6-8m in height in gardens.
