This plant is a type of mint but due to the aroma of the foliage, it’s often used in a similar way to basil.
The hairy leaves of this bee-attracting native herb can be used dried or cooked and they offer a range of flavours.
This hardy plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free draining soil.
It is ideal for containers and should grow about 1.2m high by 1.8m wide.
Small blue / purple flowers are produced throughout the year.
