Psidium cattleyanum. 19cm coir pot.
Native to Brazil, this evergreen plant makes a great edible hedge.
The red fruit is sweet and tangy, and can be eaten fresh or used to make jams and juices.
The leaves can be used in tea.
Traditionally used to assist digestion, manage blood sugar and reduce inflammation, among other things.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil, and should grow around 2.5m high.
Potentially invasive.
