Description
Thymus pulegioides ‘Aureus’. 1.1L coir pot.
High in many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, this sun loving herb will form a carpet of golden foliage with lavender coloured flowers in summer.
It enjoys a warm, dry, full sun location with good air movement. It’ll grow to about 10cm high by 50cm wide. It requires minimal watering and will die in wet, heavy soils.
It can be used in all stages of cooking and the flowers can be eaten too. The flavour partners well with garlic, oregano, rosemary and other thymes.
