You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Thymus vulgaris ‘Fragrantissimus’. 1.1L coir pot.

This fine-leafed form has lovely orange-scented leaves.

The pink flowers and foliage are edible and are high in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.

The plant enjoys a full sun position in dry, well draining soil. It requires minimal watering and will die in heavy, wet soils.

It is a low growing plant and will reach about 25cm high by 30cm wide.
