Description

Tetragonia tetragonoides. 3.7L coir pot.

This leafy, fast-growing vegetable is native to Eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand (where it’s known as New Zealand Spinach).

It is a hardy plant that can handle most soil types with good drainage.

It prefers a full sun to part shade position and should grow about 30cm high by 2m wide.

You can harvest the leaves all year round. Treat them as you would spinach. Blanch or steam them before eating.

The flowers are also edible.
