You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Nasturtium officinale. 1.1L coir pot.

Watercress is a low growing perennial herb.

It will perform well when grown in full sun in well drained soil. Water regularly.

The leaves can be eaten raw or cooked and the seeds can be ground into a powder and used as a mustard.

It is high in vitamin C and is considered a herb for cleansing. In the past, watercress was used for medicinal purposes such as the treatment of tuberculosis. The juice of watercress was once used internally or externally for chest complaints, kidney aches, irritations and skin inflammations. Used externally, it was believed to promote thick hair growth.
