Description
Echinacea alba. 1.1L coir pot.
This herbaceous perennial offers stunning white flowers with a cone-shape centre, throughout spring and summer, which will help to attract butterflies to the garden.
The cut flowers keep well in a vase.
The plant is drought tolerant, enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil, and should grow around 80cm high.
It’ll die down in winter, and reshoot from the roots in spring.
Echinacea is used in extracts, tablets, teas and tinctures, among other things.
To make tea, you can use dried or fresh roots, leaves or flowers.
Echinacea is believed to stimulate the immune system, and assist with colds, flu and upper respiratory tract infections.
