Native to Europe and Western Asia, this perennial herb offers small white flowers that dry well and are popular in flower arrangements.
White Yarrow has been used medicinally to treat numerous issues, including arthritis. The leaves have been used externally to help stop bleeding. Taken as a tea, the plant is believed to assist with colds and flu.
White Yarrow enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fertile, moist, well draining soil.
It should grow to around 80cm high by 80cm wide, and is a lovely addition to the garden.
Place layers of leaves in your compost bin and they’ll help activate and break down the compost.
