This perennial shrub offers fragrant foliage and bright yellow flowers in autumn – winter, which attract bees and butterflies.
The leaves, fresh or dried, can be used to make tea that’s believed to assist with inflammation, intestinal worms, respiratory issues and mild stomach irritations (among other things).
Mild analgesic, anxiolytic and mood-lifting properties.
The plant enjoys a full sun position, can handle various soil types with good drainage, and should grow around 1.2m high by 1.8m wide.
Best planted where you can brush against the foliage and enjoy the aroma.
