You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Capparis spinosa. 3.7L coir pot.

This semi-deciduous perennial plant offers edible flower buds (capers) and fruit (caper berry), both of which are usually pickled.

The plant enjoys a warm, full sun position in free draining soil and should grow about 1m high by 1m wide.

Caper Bush don’t like excess water, cold or humidity.
