You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Native to Central Europe and Northern Asia, this plant features linear, twisted leaves.
Both the leaves and the lilac – pink flowers are edible.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in well-draining soil, and should grow about 20cm high.
Drought tolerant once established.
Ideal for pots.
Great for attracting butterflies and beneficial insects.
