You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.
Macadamia integrifolia. 3.7L coir pot.
This macadamia grows around 4m high by 3m wide.
Cream coloured, perfumed, pendulous flowers appear in spring, followed by nuts.
Nuts should appear after a few years.
High yielding.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fertile, well draining soil.
Great for hedging or screening.
