Description
3.7L coir pot.
Dragon Fruit are native to Central and South America. They grow best in tropical, sub-tropical and warm temperature climates.
They are a climbing cactus so it’s best to grow them on a trellis or frame.
They prefer a full sun position but some cultivars benefit from some protection from the afternoon summer sun.
Dragon Fruit require free draining soil. They’ll most likely rot if they’re planted in poorly draining soil. Many people grow their plants in raised garden beds to help with drainage.
You can train your plant to climb by removing any side shoots. Once your plant has reached the desired height (usually around 1.8m), cut the ends of the stems and this should encourage branching.
Sweet red flesh with red skin.
Self fertile.
These are rooted plants, not cuttings in pots.
