You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This vine-like shrub grows about 1.5m high by 1.3m wide.
It enjoys a full sun to part shade position and likes fertile soil with good drainage.
The plant offers purple flowers and sweet red berries which are high in vitamins A and C.
Harvest the fruit in late autumn, prior to pruning.
