You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Trees will start cropping around four years of age, with strong production from around seven years.
The nuts are slightly smaller than other varieties, but the crop is generally larger.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in well-draining soil, and should grow around 2.5m high by 4m wide.
