You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This lovely rainforest tree is a popular addition to gardens, offering creamy pink flowers from late winter, that are ideal for attracting butterflies, bees and birds.
Over a lengthy period, nuts will appear and they’ll fall to the ground when they’re ripe, usually during the following autumn and winter.
The tree will grow to about 7m high by 5m wide and it enjoys a full sun position.
