You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Due to the lovely lime flavour of the leaves, they have numerous culinary uses, including salads, sauces and jellies, plus more.
The leaves also make a refreshing tea.
The plant enjoys moist, well draining fertile soil, in a full sun to part shade position.
Ideal for pots, it’ll grow about 40cm high by 60cm wide.
