You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Cestrum nocturnum. 3.7L coir pot.

Native to the West Indies, this evergreen shrub (sometimes referred to as Lady of the Night), is steeped in cultural significance, and offers highly fragrant, white – cream flowers during the evening hours.

The flowers in particular hold symbolic significance associated with the allure of the night, mystery, love, and hidden desires.

The flowers are also significant in various religions, cultural practices, ceremonies and traditions, nurturing a sense of calm and spiritual awakening, and representing renewal and purity. Some believe the plant to possess mystic properties.

It enjoys a full sun position in well draining, fertile soil, and should grow around 3m high by 2m wide.
