Description
Pandanus amaryllifolius. 3.7L coir pot.
Pandan is a tropical plant, believed to be native to South East Asia.
The leaves are used in a variety of ways to add their distinct flavour to food.
The plant will require a humid, part shade position in fertile, well draining soil. Keep the soil moist (not wet).
Growing the plants in containers allows you to move them somewhere sheltered during cold winter nights.
Pandan is a clumping plant, usually growing around 1.2m in height in the garden.
