Description
Punica granatum ‘Jalore’. 3.7L coir pots.
The seeds are soft, and can be eaten fresh or used to make juices or syrups.
Best suited for areas with cold winters and hot, dry summers.
Self-fertile, but fruit yields are often improved with cross-pollination from another plant.
The plant is deciduous, enjoys a full sun position in well-draining soil, and should grow around 4m high by 2.5m wide.
Drought and frost tolerant once established. Can handle coastal conditions.
