You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months. Alternatively, you can use it as a decorative pot plant as the coir pot will last between 12-18 months (then you can plant it in the ground).

This dainty little perennial (often grown as an annual), is a beautiful addition to the garden, offering lovely pink flowers throughout winter and spring, that are sure to delight.
This cheeky little plant grows to about 30cm high by 25cm wide. It enjoys a part shade position and benefits from regular watering, especially in the warmer months.
Remove the spent flowers to encourage more flowers.
