You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Also known as Wild Mint, this native mint offers a lovely strong scent and flavour.
The leaves can be used fresh or dried, with fresh offering the strongest mint hit.
The plant enjoys a part shade position in damp soil, although it’ll do well in full sun with adequate water.
Growing to around 10cm high by 60cm wide, this plant is great for pots and makes a lovely addition to the garden.
