You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.
Thymus nitidus.
The foliage of this lovely, mat forming perennial offers a strong orange peel aroma.
Mauve coloured flowers appear in summer.
It has low water requirements and needs a full sun position.
Ideal as a ground cover in rockeries and between stepping stones, it grows to a height of around 5-10cm.
