True Wormwood.

Artemisia absinthium.

True wormwood is the plant you need for treating aphids and moths and for deterring slugs and fleas.

It is an evergreen shrub that will grow around 1m high with aromatic, shiny grey / green leaves. It will grow happily in a full sun location in well draining soil.

For medicinal purposes, wormwood may be used to assist in digestive disorders, to increase sexual desire and assist imagination. It may be used externally for assisting in healing and may reduce pain.

Intestinal worms such as roundworms may be eliminated by wormwood and it may also be used to treat malaria. Some say it may be a potential cancer treatment for women fighting breast cancer.
